Part-Time Instructor/Tutor --- Charlotte, NC

Our Charlotte area (Matthews, Southpark, Mooresville) Sylvan Learning Centers are seeking part-time instructors for after school, early evening, and Saturday morning instruction in the Matthews, Southpark, and Mooresville locations.

As an instructor reporting to the Director of Education, you will:
-- Teach K-12 students
-- Teach students in a 3:1 student-teacher ratio

-- Use familiar materials approved by schools

Specific subject areas include

-- Reading (all levels)
-- Writing (all levels)
-- Math (elementary through Algebra 1 and 2 and Geometry)

REQUIREMENTS
Four year college degree required.
Teaching experience required.
Math and SAT instructors are not required to be teachers, but are required to be able to show mastery of the subject matter and the ability to teach the subject matter well.
