Sylvan Learning Center, the world’s leading provider of supplemental education, is seeking a part time Education Manager. To be considered for this position you must have a teaching certificate (expired certification is acceptable). Reporting to the Center Director you will:Hire, manage and train instructors
Create and administer student progress tests and develop incentive plans
Create and maintain an environment conducive to learning
Provide positive reinforcement and motivate students
Evening and weekend hours are necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in education
State certification
2+ years’ teaching/education experience
Business and sales experience, managerial skills
Strong communication skills
