Outpatient LPN

Accurately use assessment and evaluation materials and information to develop appropriate treatment plans for assigned clients with input from immediate supervisor, the staff psychiatrist, and treatment team, exercising professional judgment and prudence in recommending and selecting services in accordance with identified client need. Review and revise treatment plans every 15 visits or 90 days, whichever occurs first.Meet or exceed productivity levels established for direct service within the department, if applicable. Demonstrate a working knowledge of and ability to access other available human services for clients. Maintain confidentiality regarding clients and departmental information as per agency policy, DPW regulations, and the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Act of 1966. Schedule appointments for staff psychiatrist, process documents, verify information, and provide assistance to clients in completing forms. Dispense necessary medications as ordered by staff psychiatrist.Follow psychiatrist orders regarding clients and medical/therapeutic needs. Carry out these duties in a responsible, professional, and ethical manner; upholding the mission and values of this establishment.
Insure psychiatric charting is completed in a timely manner and according to policy
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Licensed Practical Nurse with previous nursing experience in the mental health field.
