Nursing Instructor - Emergency Room

The instructor works with managers and staff to assess, plan, implement and evaluate formal and informal education and clinical practice activities related to orientation, training, continuing education and competency assessment. The instructor actively participates in facilitating the change process in their areas of responsibility or as assigned organizationally. Responsibilities require initiative, creativity and independence in designing and implementing courses, programs and projects.
REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree in Nursing or Education preferred. (3) years clinical nursing experience in acute care or school of nursing. Proven clinical skills in emergency nursing practice. (1) year experience teaching in a hospital or school of nursing. RN License in the state of Maryland; certification in practice specialty.
