Medical Career Instructor/Teacher

Have you ever considered becoming a teacher but thought you needed a degree to do so? Well you don't. We hire experience not degrees. We feel experience in the field is the most important trait for an instructor. If you have a desire to help others and have at least two years experience in Medical Office administration or as a Medical Assistant then contact First Institute to find out about this fun and rewarding opportunity. We are a Nationally Accredited Career School. We have been training students for new careers since 1982, and we are in need of part-time instructors. Experience in teaching not required. We will teach you what you need to know and supply you with text books with fantastic instructor's guides. All new instructor go through an orientation process and will have an experienced instructor to use as a guide and mentor.
At First Institute you will find a professional, laid back atmosphere with a genuine interest in helping our students succeed in their new careers. Schedules can be flexible with the opportunity to just teach select classes throughout the year or teach year round. Class time is Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30a-4:30p.Some of the classes that will be offered are: Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Office Procedures, Computer Billing, Clinical Procedures, and Phlebotomy. You have the opportunity to teach all of theses courses or just the ones you are most comfortable with. REQUIREMENTS
Great job for Medical Assistants, Medical Office Personnel, and Medical Billers and Coders. We require three years of experience in the field. In addition it helps to be very organized, have good planning skills, a good sense of humor, and be creative.
