MANAGING DIRECTOR-K-12 SERVICES


Maryland Public Television has received local and national recognition for the quality and impact of our educational products and services. We are seeking a Managing Director of K-12 Services to join our team to provide direction and oversight for all MPT K-12 educational services. Will develop and implement a variety of new services such as professional development services and ITV services. Will supervise a team of professionals and cultivate relationships with outside professionals within Maryland’s K-12 educational community. Will collaborate with other senior education staff to develop, seek funding for, implement and market services and products in the education community.

We offer an excellent State of MD benefit package which includes a variety of health and dental plans, prescription coverage and a generous leave plan. Salary: $62,700.00 to $70,000.00 depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS
We require a Bachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience which involved development and implementation of innovative educational services. We also require 2 years supervisory experience and knowledge of multiple technologies and their applications in education. Knowledge of MSDE and national content standards and evaluation standards is strongly preferred.
