Manager of Customer Education and Medical Education

Primary Function: Manager needed to develop and coordinate medical education and training materials, as well as programs to meet corporate initiatives for clinical and/or laboratory professionals while meeting health care compliance guidelines.


Responsibilities:

*Define educational priorities that require support and funding in conjunction with marketing and sales initiatives

*Develop and monitor customer training and medical education budgets

*Develop and start up training strategies and support enduring materials

*Share and develop good practice in the organization and distribution of educational materials for existing and pipeline products

*Promote links between educational agendas and services needed

*Manage curriculum development, faculty development and evaluation, in addition to providing support services (database)

*Supervise design and functionality of educational websites

*Establish and maintain relationships with medical education providers and training faculty

*Maintain and ensure Industry standard compliance (Advamed, OIG). Interface with legal dept.

*Represent the deparyment on ad hoc committees as appropriate

This facility is a leading women's health company that designs, develops, creates and markets innovative and clinically effective products. These products cover a range of women's health applications and treatments.Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in clinical or life sciences

* Advanced degree in science or business is preferred as well as medical education /training experience

* Nursing degree (RN, NP) preferred

* Minimum 5 yrs experience in the health care industry.

* Experience in managing medical education vendors, developing medical education programs and working with medical societies extremely helpful.

* Presentation development and powerpoint skills required.

* Experience working with medical professionals preferred
