Learning & Devel Specialist

Basic Functions and Responsibilities: **Exempt**6 Month Term of ContractTo ensure that CSRs, managers and other personnel in Operations have knowledge and skills required to do their work and to assist management in closing gaps in performance.Specialist will report directly to the Manager of Ops Learning and Development. With guidance and direction from Manger the consultant will:Assist internal customers in assessing and resolving performance gaps by implementing Gap Analysis systems.Determine staff learning and organization development needs by monitoring, performing needs assessments, etc.Identify, review and select relevant learning activities to satisfy learning and development needs.Support implementation of various technical initiatives by consulting with project leads to create learning plans, develop learning materials and coordinate roll out of training.Design, Develop, and facilitate programs/learning activities for new hires and existing staff to meet business needs of work areas.Design, develop and distribute learning tools such as standard operating procedures, reference guides, and other end-user documentation.Monitor employees progress during training programs and provide feedback to individuals as necessary.Follow-up with management after learning activities to ensure quality.Apply Info: Internal:Please send cover letter and resume to [Click here for email]. REQUIREMENTS
Education: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.Completion of Certification program in Training and/or Organizational Development.Experience: 0 - 5 years of professional experience.Strong Writing and Presentation skills, Excellent communication skills. Basic to intermediate PC skills including word processing, fundamental working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases. Understanding of adult learning principles and practices.
