Event Title: Health FairEvent Description:A major international company has contracted with InterFit Health to provide health care professionals to work at their annual employee health fair.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide efficient, accurate and friendly service
We will be performing the following services:
Blood Pressure ChecksMust successfully demonstrate manual and automatic screening proficiencyHeight and WeightExperience in taking height and weight measurements and charting informationBody Fat/Composition testingAbility to use infrared body composition scanning unit. Osteoporosis screeningsBasic knowledge of Osteoporosis
Screening is done via a heel scan, so willingness to work with individuals feet a mustInstant Glucose and Cholesterol checks via fingerstickMinimum of two years concurrent experience performing fingersticks
You must be a state certified phlebotomist or a nurse to perform fingersticks for this locationWellness CoachingWorking knowledge of HDL/LDL levels
Bachelor of science in health-related degree for accredited university required Set up and take down of assigned station
Maintaining a clean work station
Prior to the event training the training manual must be read
Must attend training in order to work the event
Must pass mandatory background screening
Punctuality is required to event and training
Dress Code must be adhered to for event days- Black pants and white button down shirt
No cell phones onsite
Must have reliable transportation
REQUIREMENTS
Salary:Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists up to $15 per hour
Nationally Certified Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists up to $18 per hour
EMTs $18 per hour
Health Educators, Dieticians, Fitness Specialists and LVNs/LPNs up to $26 per hourSpecial Compensation:Enlist a friend to work the event with you.
