LIBRARY AIDE

Responsibilities:Summary: The Library Aide is responsible for the supervision of a general purpose and/or law library designed to accommodate the social, educational and legal interest and needs of an inmate population. In addition to obtaining and maintaining reference materials for inmates, the Library Aide will ensure adequate resource materials for facility employees.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications : Graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in library science preferred. Prior library experience that includes program development, usage of reference materials and information services is also preferred. Demonstrate a working knowledge of audio-visual equipment and be familiar with audio-visual materials. A valid driver's license is preferred, unless required by contract or applicable statute.
