Instructors Needed (Medical Assisting & Administrative Assisting

Corinthian Colleges, Inc. a publicly traded corporation and one of the nation's leading providers of post-secondary training for adult learners with 91 campuses in 22 states and 46 colleges plus 15 corporate training centers in seven Canadian provinces is currently seeking highly motivated, goal-oriented INSTRUCTORS for our Olympia College - Chicago, IL campus.

We are looking for full-time and part-time medical professionals to teach day and/or evening classes for the following programs:
MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
MEDICAL ASSISTING

If you have the following qualities, we are looking for you!!
Maintain a teaching assignment each module, including actively teaching lab on a daily basis.
Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure that course content and objectives are met.
Cover all material in depth and scope as described in syllabus.
Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
Follow the approved break schedule. Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance “concerns” to the Program Chair or Director of Education.
Be available to advise students, tutor and provide other assistance as needed. REQUIREMENTS
3 years experience as a medical assistant or medical administrative assistant.
Able to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
