Instructors Needed

Corinthian Colleges, Inc. a publicly traded corporation and one of the nation's leading providers of post-secondary training for adult learners with 91 campuses in 22 states and 46 colleges plus 15 corporate training centers in seven Canadian provinces is currently seeking highly motivated, goal-oriented INSTRUCTORS for our Bryman College – Gardena, CA campus.

We are looking for Instructors to teach day and/or evening classes for the following programs:
DENTAL ASSISTING
MEDICAL ASSISTING
MEDICAL INSURANCE BILLING/CODING
MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities include:
Maintain a teaching assignment each module.
Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure that course content and objectives are met. Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting.
Cover all material in depth and scope as described in syllabus.
Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance “concerns” to the Program Chair or DOE.
Be available to advise students, tutor and provide other assistance as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess 3+ experience and certification/license in the field being taught
Excellent communication and organization skills
Teaching experience is preferred, but not required
