Independent Assessor Provider Region III

Position: Independent Assessor Provider (IAP),
Region III, Nampa, Idaho (pending State Board of
Education approval), full-time, 12-month contract.
Responsibilities: Conduct the clinical assessments
for Department of Health and Welfare Region III
adults with developmental disabilities who are applying
for Medicaid services. The IAP shall be responsible
for initial and annual eligibility determinations by
administering and completing the DD eligibility
process, and aiding in the establishment of a plan of
service, with a negotiated budget, based on the
assessed needs of the client.
Qualifications: Qualified Mental Retardation
Professional (QMRP) - meets the qualifications specified
in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, section
483.430. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or another
related field, and have experience in completing and
interpreting assessments. Master’s degree in a health
related field or Licensed Social Worker preferred.
