The position is located in Tampa, FL

The purpose of the department: The DSD provides Education and Technical Support for the Agency Staff, Sales Leaders, Agents and Regional Employees.

The scope of this job is to provide education assessment, prescribe and conduct education designed from a variety of mediums, monitors progress to ensure results are achieved. Must not have any restrictions with traveling in the State of Florida.

The individual will be responsible for:

1. Prepares and facilitates both technology and product courses in order to achieve regional objectives.
2. Assists with planning, developing and review of educational programs and initiatives projects in order to ensure effective course materials.
3. Conducts Agency visits when requested to follow up on educational needs.
4. Communicates educational offerings to appropriate audiences. Partners with Home Office on initiatives as required by Manager.
5. Works with others to maintain a positive work environment in order to achieve regional objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
The skills required are:

1. Beginner - Licensed in P&C and Life
2. Intermediate - Auto and Property Product and Technological Knowledge
3. Intermediate - Facilitation Skills
4. Intermediate - Organizational skills, effective time management and the ability to self manage.
5. Advanced - Verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Required:
Needs experience facilitating and developing curriculum. Needs working knowledge of Auto and Property Insurance.

Computer Proficiency:
Working knowledge of P&C applications, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point and Excel. The ability to use ALSTAR and IMPACT a plus.

Education:
College Degree - Preferred
Major preference: P&C License
