Dayspring Head Start is high quality, comprehensive child developmental program for children three to five years of age and their families. The program is designed to address the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each and every child in the program by providing a safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore their environments. Dayspring Head Start realizes that in order to assist the child with these issues that it must provide an arena where the entire family can be supported and their needs can be addressed.

REQUIREMENTS
This position requires an excellent understanding of early childhood education, classroom management skills, and exceptional organizational skills. Person must also have excellent written and communication skills, and access to a car. Individual must be able to provide direction and supervision to the teaching assistant. Person must Position requires a degree in Early Childhood Education (Bachelors or Associates)or a related field. This is a ten month position with full benefits (summer off)such as dental, medical, and retirement contributions, tuition assistance available for individuals seeking a Bachelors degree in ECE.
Teaching Assistants: Individuals must have a good grasp of Early Childhood Education. Person must currently be working towards an AA in ECE, High School diploma a must. Experience preferred
