HAMPTON SHERIFF'S OFFICE TEACHER INSTRUCTOR (Part-time) The Hampton Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a part-time certified Teaching Instructor. The successful applicant will instruct inmates in preparation for the GED exam. Qualifications include but are not limited to a college degree, concentration in Education is preferred. Applicant must also have a minimum of five (5) years teaching experience, as well as experience with the Century 21 GED Program, preferred. The applicant must possess a valid VA driver's license, and successfully complete a polygraph exam as well as undergo a background investigation and physical examination. Applicants must be able to interact with inmates within a jail setting.
