Full-time position

Full-time position available in test development and editing reports and other documents related to Florida certification exams for teachers and school administrators.

DUTIES: Reviewing and editing tests for grammar and syntax, as well as question structure; editing related written materials; assisting task groups to assure the validity and reliability of newly developed FTCE test forms. Most work must be accomplished within strict time-frames.

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree and two years' experience in test development, technical editing for publication or similar activities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to organize complex tasks, and attention to detail are essential to effective performance.

PREFERRED: Master's degree in English, Instructional Design, Communications/ Journalism, Educational Research or a Social Science. At least three years' experience in editing technical documents or testing documents. Experience/ skills in Web page development. At least two years' work within strict schedules for project completion or publication.
