Full Time Teacher Assistant(s)

Teacher assistants needed immediately to work in innovative classroom setting in small private school for children with autism. Please apply if you are a person who is highly motivated to work with developmentally disabled students (ages 5 through 21) and have an interest in:
working as part of a caring and experienced team of
professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism;
learning and applying the best, proven intervention
strategies for educating students with autism; and
receiving ongoing training and supervision in the
fundamentals of applied behavior analysis.
Two or four year degree in a related field (or experience in working with the disabled population) is preferred. Specific experience is not required, but is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS
We are currently seeking teacher assistants to work one on one in the classroom with students, under the supervision of a special education teacher and coordinator of clinical services. Extensive training is provided.

We also need a teacher assistant who will work part time in the classroom setting and part time in an educational inclusion setting.

This is a twelve-month program; hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Please apply only if you are available to start immediately.
