Facility Manager - ARAMARK Education - Houston, TX

ARAMARK Education provides a complete range of food, facility, uniform and other support services to more than 650 K-12 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a family of dining and facility services including: on-site and off-site breakfast and lunch meal programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education, retail design and operations, maintenance, custodial, grounds, energy management, construction management, and building commissioning.
As a Facility Manager you will direct the Facilities Management for a unit including engineering, maintenance, custodial, and/or grounds services. You will be responsible for budgeting labor, supplies, equipment and related services/materials required for cost-effective operations.


Job Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess at least an Associate's degree in a technical degree as well as technical knowledge of maintenance equipment, cleaning procedures, and POM activities. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. Experience directing skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled trade personnel in an union and/or non-union environment is required. The ability to oversee capital projects, maintenance plans, and funding requests is required. Strong financial analysis and interpretation skills and computer skills are necessary. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable. Candidate should possess experience in working in a managed service environment, 1-2 years of supervisory experience with 2-3 years of engineering/construction or maintenance support experience. Candidate should demonstrate effective facility planning knowledge to assist client in defining facility requirements and should understand the role of the architect/engineer and facility planners.
