Facility Educator

Care One has 24 locations in New Jersey offering Long Term Care, Sub-Acute Services, Alzheimer/Dementia Programs .

Care One is currently seeking a Facility Educator for our Hamilton, New Jersey facility.

In this position you will plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate the education curriculum for clinical orientation and training. Participate in constructing class schedules, clinical training schedules, orientation programs and in-service training classes.

You will also play a proactive role in recruitment and selection process. Interviewing and touring potential employees. You will organize and/or participate in Recruitment and Retention Committee. You will have the opportunity to be creative and have a direct measurable impact on staff and residents.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN in the State of New Jersey.

Experience as a Nurse Supervisor preferably in LTC.

Training experience is a must.

You will be responsible for the control of infection by evaluating types, trends and treatments as well as exposure risks and education.

You will assess resident placement, treatments and the results and/or cause of infection cases.

Certification is a plus but not a requirement. We would prefer one year plus experience.

Work independently and be able to plan, organize and implement facility wide programs.

Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
