Executive Director of Childcare

Position is responsible for the overall development of the association school-age childcare program(s), set standards/accreditation, works with childcare program directors to ensure the timely delivery of consistent, quality program and services in a manner of established policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to: monitor and refine current child-care programs, growth/expansion strategy, and serves as lead staff in working with the Department of Education and RFP/contract process, staff/volunteer development, and community relations. Reports directly to the District Vice President.
REQUIREMENTS
oBachelor’s degree required. Major related to school-age youth preferred.
oYMCA Senior Director Certification preferred.
oAble to be CPR/AED, First Aid trained.
oTB clearance required
o2 years minimum experience in a supervisory capacity.
o2 years minimum experience in school age child care program and/or education preferred.
