COMMUNITY, NATURAL RESOURCE and ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTAGENT / EDUCATOR
ST. CROIX COUNTY
Help communities address their community/organizational development challenges, as well as their interests related to economic development, jobs and employment issues, recreation and tourism, natural resources and water quality, education for local government officials and community information/data management. Backed by University research, the Agent helps citizens, civic groups, businesses and local governments identify critical local concerns in these areas and possible solutions. The Agent strengthens communities and local government through educational programming that builds understanding and leads to improved decision-making and leadership skills. Emphasis in the areas of community and land use planning programming; business and economic development and natural resources issues education. Requires a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred. An individual hired as an Extension Associate (Bachelor's degree) must complete an approved Master's degree within five years of the initial appointment.
