We are currently seeking the following teaching positions for our new YMCA Children’s Early Learning Campus daycare!

Infant/Toddler, Twos and Preschool Lead Teacher

We are seeking professional, warm, nurturing, energetic teachers who are able to successfully manage children in a daycare/classroom setting, develop lesson plans and effectively promote the emotional, physical, mental and social well being in a daycare environment. This full time Lead Teacher position requires that:

· Applicants must be at least 22 years of age,

· Applicants must possess a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or related field or hold a Child Development Associates degree (CDA) or be within 6 months of completing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

· Must meet state licensing requirements through DCFS and have at least 3 years of experience working with children from infant through 5 years.

The Lead Teacher will also play a key role in moving the program toward NAEYC accreditation.

Infant/Toddler, Twos and Preschool Teacher Assistants

Under the supervision of the Lead Teacher, this position provides assistance for the well being and instruction of the classroom. This person will assist with the day to day operations of the classroom, outside activities, lunch/snack preparation, etc.

Applicants must be at least 20 years of age and possess an Associates degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field or hold a Child Development Associates degree (CDA) or be within 6 months of completing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Applicants must have proven experiences and a minimum of three years preferred providing care for infants.

Teacher Assistants will also play a key role in moving the program toward NAEYC accreditation.
