EDUCATION SPECIALIST

The position is located in Irving, TX

The purpose of the department is to support Allstate Agency Distribution strategies by partnering with agency field support in order to achieve our Financial Services and P&C goals.

The scope of this job is to provide education needs assessment, prescribe and conduct education using a variety of delivery methods, and monitor progress to ensure results are achieved.

The individual will be responsible for

1. Coordinating, facilitating and instructing education sessions in order to achieve Regional objectives.
2. Assisting with planning and reviewing of education programs in order to ensure effective course material.
3. Coordinates and integrates education initatives into Territories/Markets in order to achieve Regional objectives.
4. Communicates information to ensure awareness of education availability.
5. Work with others to maintain a positive and committed work environment to achieve Regional objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
The skills required are:

1. Intermediate - Can communicate effectively in order to share information and direction for team members.
2. Intermediate - Facilitation skills in order to ensure effective learning.
3. Intermediate - Project Management skills to effectively implement the education assessment, delivery and evaluation processes.
4. Intermediate - Can manage diverse relationships and collaborate with people in order to ensure effective teamwork.

Experience Required:
Education experience is required. Sales experience is preferred. Life insurance experience is preferred. Currently licensed in P&C and Group 1 is preferred.

Computer Proficiency:
Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet/Intranet. ALSTAR knowledge is preferred.

College Degree - Preferred
