Director of Private Tutoring

Job Description:

·Work with executive director and marketing director to create and implement long & short-term office plans
·Work with executive director on annual budget planning and analysis
·Create long & short- term departmental plans and lead private tutoring operations in the execution of these plans
·Oversee all tutoring clients to ensure programs are managed to meet demand, expense budget, and quality goals

·Manage and support Assistant Directors with operations including the following:
Staffing and supporting all Tutoring Packages
Managing materials distribution

Handling cancellation/rescheduling of tutoring sessions

Overseeing database management

Entering & reconciling payroll

·Work with marketing team to grow tutoring business

·Oversee and manage tutor recruiting & training
·Manage tutor quality & expansion

·Insure tutor quality through professional development and mentoring sessions
·Provide excellent customer service and support for teachers, students and parents
·Manage office logistics needs
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

·BS/BA or higher degree and 2+ years of previous work experience

·Passion and enthusiasm for delivering results

·Extremely strong organizational and planning skills

·Leadership and team motivation abilities

·Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

·Aptitude for solving problems and making decisions with minimal supervision

·Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints

·Previous supervisory and customer service experience
