About Us:
The mission of UPI is to facilitate a program that will enhance the academic and athletic career of the participant while providing the school and community with an excellent cultural role model and leader.

Our partner in Europe, Universal Players, chooses its applicants from a wide range of premier, activity based schools throughout the European Common Market. Applicants have the ability to engage in academics as well as in a high level of athletic skill training in a specific sport.

Universal Programs International offers a variety of programs for foreign high school students coming to a private high school in the United States. These students combine their educational expertise with a special skill in a competitive sport. Our participants are willing to live with host families supplied by the school or in dorm settings on campus.

Director of Program Services

The Director of Universal Programs International is the supervisor of all program operations within the UPI system.

Responsibilities:
Research, identify and finalize recruitment of private high schools in the United States interested in receiving student athletes.
Negotiate scholarship and low tuition rates for student athletes.
Act as liaison between international agent/student and private school.
Supervise office administrative help.
Review all applications to ensure that students are of high academic and athletic quality.
Assist in the recruitment of foreign students abroad.
Assist school in informed as to the obligations of the private school.
REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of experience.
BA Degree.
Sports knowledge - ice hockey, soccer, basketball.
Negotiation skills.
Computer knowledge.
