Certification Program

St. Ambrose University is seeking a highly motivated educator to serve as Director of the Iowa National Board Certification Candidate Support Program. This is a three year state funded program to provide support for teachers across the state of Iowa seeking National Board certification. Qualifications include experience working with teachers in the area of professional development, working knowledge of both elementary and secondary education issues, ability to relate well to a variety of personalities and constituencies, knowledge of Iowa educational systems and be willing to travel extensively throughout the state. A minimum of a Master s degree required. National Board Certified Teacher preferred or has a strong knowledge of the National Board Certification process.
