Come grow with us. Sylvan Learning Center, the world’s leading provider of supplemental education, is seeking a Director of Education. You MUST have a teaching certificate to be considered for this position. Reporting to the Center Director you will Hire, manage and train instructors
Communicate with parents and teachers
Create and administer student progress tests and develop incentive plans
Create and maintain an environment condusive to learning
Provide positive reinforcement and motivate students Evening and weekend hours are necessary REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education
State certification is required
2+ years’ teaching/education experience
Business and sales experience, managerial skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
