The Foundation of Provena United
Samaritans Medical Center has an exciting
opportunity for an individual who is looking
for a challenging leadership position as
Director of Major Gifts and Planned
Giving. Reporting to the Vice President of
Development, the Director's role is to
identify, cultivate, and solicit prospective
donors for major and planned gifts. The
Director will be responsible for maintaining
programs in the areas of major gifts and
planned giving. These activities are designed
to increase the number of major and planned
gifts to financially support continuing the
Mission of Provena United Samaritans
Medical Center.
The qualified candidate will possess a
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting,
finance or closely related discipline;
preferred certification from Planned Giving
from the National Planned Giving Institute or
College of Law with a minimum of 5 years
combined leadership and major gift
fund-raising management and the ability
to communicate effectively and work
independently in development of projects.
