The agency has been in business for twenty years and currently employs One hundred fifty people. Our mission is to assist people in participating as fully as possible in all aspects of their lives and support people to be productive members of their communities. This means we help people when they participate in community activities, when they go to work, and when they are at home. In a way we are life coaches, helping people develop skills and abilities; helping wherever and whenever it is needed. We take a holistic approach to the services we provide. Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for creative, committed, caring people. Join our goal oriented team that really makes a contribution to the quality of life of individuals with developmental disabilities. Provide direct support services one on one. Help people develop daily living and working skills. Assist people in the community, at their job and in their home. This is fun and rewarding work. No direct experience is necessary. We offer outstanding training and you can gain experience in the fields of social work, psychology education, and recreation. This is an entry level position with prospects for advancement.
REQUIREMENTS
You should enjoy interacting with and motivating people. You ought to have a positive attitude, good communications skills, follow through with assignments, be able to work in a tight team atmosphere and have good basic math and writing skills.You must be reliable, responsible, and willing to learn and have fun.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent a must.
Associated or Bachelors a plus!You must have a valid driver's license and been driving a minimum of two years with an excellent record.
