The University of Central Florida is a metropolitan research university with an enrollment of 45,000. Established in 1963, undergraduate and graduate academic programs are delivered through 10 colleges. Located in Orlando, Florida, the University enjoys a rich heritage of cultural, educational, industrial, and recreational activities.

The university is currently seeking an Assistant Director, Career Development Services. This A&P position is located in our SDES-Career Services & Experiential Learning department.

Salary: Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.

Preferences: Prefer candidate to have a Master's degree in student personnel, higher education, counselor education, human resources or other appropriate area. Six months or more experience with career services (include graduate student experience, professional experience or with other experience) is desired. Prefer customer relationship management experience with a proven employer development or sales and marketing track record as well as experience using technology, to gather data and generate memos and reports as well as technology specific to customer relationship management. In addition, experience in program management, career services delivery and presentations, and skills or aptitude for developing recruiting relationships are desired. Selected candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven communication skills, particularly with diverse groups, including faculty, employers and students and record of working with self-directed teams.

Special Conditions: Special considerations for experience of successful collaborations with academic programs and relevant industry experience and in business and related disciplines. Anticipated Salary in the $40's.
