Essential Functions: 35% - Develops and administers district-wide recruitment program which may include recruitment of Native American students.
20% - Plans, organizes and implements recruitment and marketing strategies that may target Native American Communities, data interpretation, statistical and report practices.
15% - Develops and implements workshops, seminars on recruitment activities which may feature recruitment of Native American students.
15% - Develops, plans and initiates outreach activities in schools and the community.
15% - Prepares reports, materials and formal presentations using data base management systems in recruitment and software for analysis of data.Job Summary: Administers a district-wide recruitment program to enhance student enrollment and retention which may include the enrollment and retention of Native American students.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: - Knowledge of recruitment programs; needs of high schools, college and communities served, which may include Native American communities
Experience managing a recruitment program
Experience supervising the work of assigned staff
Experience preparing, maintaining, and interpreting statistical data
Effective oral and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications: - Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities, which may include knowledge of the Native American community; an example of this would be a college degree in Education, Sociology, or related field and/or experience in student recruitment/retention programs.Special Working Conditions: Position may require evening and weekend hours; local, regional, and occasional national travel; requires state of Arizona Class D Drivers License.
