Join the professionals on our team and share in a quality career experience.Must possess in-depth knowledge of nursing in order to demonstrate nursing procedures and evaluate performance by direct observation at a level generally acquired through two to three years of experience in area of assigned familiarity. Must also be able to act in the educator role for other positions on the unit such as Respiratory, HUCs and CV Techs. Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to present educational programs, to encourage educational development and utilization of appropriate techniques and procedures by others, and to interact effectively with patients, family, and hospital staff.Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates staff development and orientation programs for employees on units for all three shifts. Confers with the Nurse Directors and other leaders to plan, supervise, and evaluate work experiences necessary to meet the educational needs of department personnel.Job RequirementsState of Wisconsin License in Nursing
Current membership in an appropriate organization relevant to individual educator specialty is preferred.BSN Required
Masters Degree preferred with 3-4 years experienceHours are primarily days but may need to flex to nights/pm based on the needs of the department.
