REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Current RN AZ License (BSN preferred)
One year experience
Experience in rehabilitation and pediatric preferred, but not required.
Capable skills to effectively implement the nursing process which includes identifying, prioritizing, providing nursing care, and auditing the health care delivery.
Excellent organizational and assessment skills, ability to multi-task, exceptional customer service skills.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and function of the patients served.

Duties:
Effectively understands, and is responsible for staff Nurse Job Description
Supervise timely completion of monthly recap and medication sheets
Supervise chart audits
Monitor and order immunizations and vaccines
Will be responsible for RN/LPN staffing if Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing are not present
Complete and process Incident Reports if Director of Nursing is not present
Handles injuries requiring Concentra- call Bill Timmons, CEO for permission to eliminate drug test, if unable to reach Bill Timmons, call Dale Skurdahl
Participates in “On Call” responsibilities as scheduled by the DON
Prepare monthly Infection Control Sheets
Prepare monthly Skin Assessment Sheets
Participates in Utilization Review
Formulates Care Plans with Director of Nursing
Maintains Care Plans
Participates in Care Plan Meetings
Prepares and presents information at scheduled ISSP’s
Assists Physicians on rounds
Assess and coordinates new client and prospective client admissions
Assess and coordinates respite admissions
Coordinates physician’s visits, follows up with orders
Coordinates appointments and referrals, coordinates transportation
Coordinates annual dental, vision, hearing, PPD skin tests and flu immunization Programs for all clients
Coordinates and supervises laboratory and x-ray needs
Assists and coordinates discharge training to families or significant others as needed
Assists with staff meetings
Participates in walk through with other members of Nursing Management Team
Must be able to assist with surveys
Covers SNF duties in the absence of SNF assigned clinical coordinator
Abides by all Hacienda policies and procedures
Responsible for other duties designed by the Director of Nursing
Candidates must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to the first day of employment. Also, must be able to obtain a Class I fingerprint clearance card.
