Childcare Professionals Needed - Director/Assistant Director

The Sunshine House is the 7th largest child care provider in the United States. We are a provider of childcare and preschool educational services. We provide a caring environment of love and understanding for children that encourages the growth, education and development of the whole child. We are currently recruiting for Directors, Assistant Directors, and Teachers in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.

These are full-time opportunities in Early Childhood Education.

As a successful candidate, you must have high standards and believe that the care you provide is invaluable. You must have demonstrated the ability to create a fun, safe and thriving environment for children and parents, and have experience managing a staff of 10 or more. You must have experience in a large, successful childcare center, and experience as a director or manager. Excellent customer service, leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Strong personnel management and sales skills are preferred. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring a childcare center is operated in accordance with company policies & procedures and complies with state licensing standards by fostering an educational, nurturing, and safe environment in which children are encouraged to reach their full potential. You will recruit, hire, train, coach, counsel, and develop center staff. In addition, you will utilize marketing skills to encourage enrollments by attracting and retaining families; interact with children, staff, and parents; promote the company within the community; and achieve profitability.
REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Early Childhood/Elementary Education, a degree in Business Management or have at least 3 years management experience in childcare or related field
• Bi-lingual is a plus
