Child Care Worker

VisionQuest is an employee-owned, comprehensive national youth services organization that adheres to the highest professional standards in providing innovative intervention services to at-risk youth and families. We are currently seeing Child Care Workers to act as a mentor to the youth in our Woolford, Maryland program. A Child Care Worker acts as a parenting figure while maintaining a safe environment. They promote growth and development to the youth by providing VisionQuest history and structure to prepare adolescents to become successful members of society. Some responsibilities include: • Maintaining a safe environment • Communication • Acting as a mentor • Coaching life skills • Performing physical activities with youth
REQUIREMENTS
G.E.D or High School Diploma and a minimum of one year's experience working with at-risk adolescents. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age with the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
