Certified Teachers & Experienced TutorsTestQuest Inc. is currently seeking Certified Teachers / Experienced Tutors to provide academic assistance for our students in the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island. We will have over three thousand students in need of academic assistance available the school year. Help us make a difference!
TestQuest Inc. is a leading supplementary educational service provider in the Tri-State area. We provide 40 hours of FREE individual tutoring in students' homes located in Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens during the academic year as a No Child Left behind Approved Vendor.TestQuest also provides after school group services in schools.We offer the following programs FREE to students:1. English Language Arts2. Mathematics3. ELA/Math - Combined Program4. Test Prep
TestQuest provides Teachers/Tutors with curriculum and there is a moderate paperwork requirement as part of the job responsibilities.
Our rates for non-certified teachers who take 1:1 assignments in a home-based environment is $15.00 hourly
The Pay rate for certified teachers who take 1:1 assignments is $20.00 hourlyFor school based assignments Certified Teachers will be paid $40.00 hourly for tutoring small groups of children.TestQuest will have thousands of assignments in the five boroughs that will be available for the new school season!!!
Requirements
Strong educational background, college degree, Experience working with children
Knowledge of using curriculum to improve students grade level
Teaching certification is preferred, however candidates with experience are welcome to apply
