EDUCATION AIKEN TECHNICAL COLLEGE Career Services Specialist (3SS06) Hiring Range: $23,918 - $34,084 Pay Band: 4 State Classification: Temporary Grant Position JOB DESCRIPTION: The Career Services Specialist will perform intake, career planning services, and certification/assessment for the WIA Program in the One Stop Career Center at Aiken Technical College. The Center serves Aiken Technical College students and the community. Additional duties include developing and teaching job readiness workshops, conducting program orientation, and assisting with career fairs, surveys and other projects. This is a Temporary Grant Position funded by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Student Personnel or Psychology and one year of related experience. Customer service experience and computer literacy are essential. The selected individual must be able to work with a diverse customer base and as a team player.
