Job Description

The Career Services Coordinator assists the Director of Career Services in administering career development and employment assistance programs for the campus. Additionally, the Coordinator will perform clerical duties and executesspecial assignments for the Career Services department.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinates and compiles surveys to graduates and employers.Assist students in obtaining log on ID and anything else needed to access the Career Services department.Updates and maintains the Career Services database, documentation, reports and student records in accordance with company policies and accreditation requirementsProvides communication to students and employers regarding employment activities and opportunities. Assists the Director of Career Services in conducting periodic follow-up reports to determine employment success of graduates and employers’ satisfaction with the quality of education.Researches opportunities for current students and alumni by accessing local job search web sites, newspapers, state and local employment agencies and other creative means.Maintains department files, supplies and other sources of information or items on record.Coordinates seminars and workshops related to career development, employment strategies and techniques as required. REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred. At least one year clerical experience. Proficient in utilizing a personal computer and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills along with a helpful deposition necessary to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts.Past history of developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
