Career Education Manager

Provides supervision and leadership for Career Education staff, programming and activities. This includes Testing, Scheduling, GED, Applied Academics, ESL, Special Needs and Drivers Education as appropriate to the Center. Coordinates student testing and class scheduling. Oversees GED programming to include developing linkages with the area GED testing providers. Develops and publishes GED Testing schedule and coordinates transportation to GED test sites. Coordinates and maintains a HSD program. Ensures quality ESL programming where appropriate. Oversees Driver’s Education programming. Serves as a liaison and community contact for special needs programming. Coordinates SST and employability instruction and accountability with Center staff and other programs, management and administrative staff. Recruits, interviews, select, evaluate, promote and discipline staff. Conducts training and applied academic/voc integrated curricula development activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree, teaching certificate and experience required. Minimum 4 years related experience required with at least 2 years of supervision.
