& EDUCATION MANAGER
The Dance Center of
Columbia College Chicago
Columbia College Chicago is an
urban institution of over
11,000 undergraduate & gradu-
ate students, emphasizing arts,
media, & communications in a
liberal arts setting. The Com-
munity Outreach & Education
Manager will work to oversee
community partnerships &
public education initiatives of
The Dance Center, with
responsibilities that include:
planning residency activities
with visiting artists & Dance
Masters; developing budgets &
fundraising strategies; schedul-
ing/planning meetings; over-
seeing the development/
distribution of all collateral
materials; & serving as a
liaison between staff, faculty &
community partners to imple-
ment service learning, work
study, student teaching &
internship opportunities for
students.

Qualified candidates must pos-
sess 3 yrs of exp. managing
cultural outreach programs
with schools & community-
based organizations with a
background in arts education.
Knowledge of dance & per-
formance with proficiency in
MS computer applications,
including WORD, Excel &
Quark, are also required.
