Assumes leadership responsibilities for the specific business unit/department. Reports to Manager of Patient Care Services. Active in program planning. Responsible for the coordination of orientation and delivers education and staff development for direct patient care givers. Evaluates clinical practice for the unit and monitors the standards of care. Provides clinical supervision. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Experience/Specialized Skills:
Two years experience in nurse educator role preferred. Five years in specialty area preferred.Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
MSN preferred.Required Certification/Registration:
REQUIRED: Current California RN License, Current BCLS.
PREFERRED: ACLS, ANA certification in Area of specialty.
