Association Education Generalist

The Sherwood Group, Inc. (TSGI) is a leading association management company, providing custom, professional management services to international nonprofit organizations representing science, health and technology fields.

TSGI seeks an enterprising business-minded professional with 4 - 7 years of experience who exhibits a range of positive interpersonal and project management skills. Reporting to an account executive, this new position will serve on an experienced client team working with a utility technology association.

The successful candidate will:

~Identify and collaboratively implement long-range goals, strategic priorities, policies, and objectives for future client educational efforts.
~Develop excellent utility industry educational programs and services from client-generated content.
~Coordinate with client governance and operational units on education issues.
~Initiate development, execution and evaluation of strategies, operational plans and program offerings.
~Build and maintain positive relationships with industry educators and consultants, as well as allied or competing associations offering similar programs.
~Create and execute sponsorship programs, including sponsor contact and management.
~Supervise and guide people and other resources to budget objectives.
