Central Missouri StateUniversity seeks to hire anenergetic professional asAssistant Director of UserServices. The Universityenrolls approximately10,000 students and is aComprehensive Master'sLevel I institution.The AD for User Servicesis the individual to whomthe CIO may look for support
of all microcomputerhardware, software, anddesktop services, and forthe integration of suchwith institutional academic
and administrativeplans consistent with marketplace
changes and directions.
The AD for UserServices also supervisesthe daily operation of theUser Services staffthrough assigned managers
including the functional
areas of Help Desk,Training, Desktop Support,and Field Services with atotal staff FTE of approximately
twenty.
A bachelor's degree is required
( master's degreepreferred) along with atleast eight years of technical
experience, includingfour years of staff management
and four years ofHigher Education experience.
Preference will begiven to candidates withstrong, current experiencein Higher Education technical
support management.The ideal candidate willalso demonstrate a highlevel of intensity, a provendedication to quality service,
proven problem solvingcapability, and an ability towork with individuals at alllevels of the institution.
