American Red Cross Health & Safety Instructor

Teach various Red Cross health and safety courses in the workplace and in the community setting in accordance with standards set by the American Red Cross. Instructors are responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies for classes according to established Red Cross guidelines Qualified individual must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences and work well in a team environment. Responsibilities include attending instructor meetings and in-service training as scheduled. Also responsible for facilitating health and safety speeches to the community under the supervision of program managers.This position requires 20 hours per week and is benefits eligible.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Available to teach a variety of days, evenings and Saturdays at various locations throughout the Greater Kansas City area.Two years college or two years teaching experience required.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Valid driver’s license and be able to drive a motor vehicle.
