Rider University seeks an Associate Director of Institutional Research to assist the Associate Vice President of Institutional Analysis in managing and executing the university's institutional research program.
Responsible for the development, coordination, compilation, and audit of the annual Common Data Set and for the preparation of institutional responses to major external surveys such as IPEDS and U.S. News. Coordinates the distribution, collection, and analysis of annual internal surveys such as CIRP, YFCY, and NSSE. Demonstrated ability to manage survey research projects, including survey design, execution, analysis, and presentation of results is a must. Construction and maintenance of historical institutional metrics archive.
Master's degree with extended experience in quantitative analysis required. Three years experience in institutional research or equivalent experience. Exceptional organizational skills, close attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Advanced skills in spreadsheets, statistical software, and relational databases highly preferred. In-depth knowledge of desktop office software including word processing and presentation packages. Experience in web authoring/design and web surveying software a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
