ASSOCIATE AGENT-FOREST EDUCATOR, Agriculture & Natural Resources

Maryland Cooperative Extension, Non-Tenure Track Faculty, 12 Month Contract. This position will be housed at the Wye Research & Education Center, in Queenstown, Maryland and have primary responsibility in Central and Eastern Maryland. To develop and implement local and regional forest stewardship workshop to encourage landowners to develop and implement forest stewardship plans. Salary will be commensurate with experience, with base salary of $35,000 per year, 12 month contract that can be renewed up to 3 years depending on funding availability. REQUIREMENTS
B.S. degree in forestry or closely related field is required with a M.S. preferred. Qualifications for a Maryland Forest Registration/License is preferred Experience with developing and implementing educational programs for forest landowners. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
