APPLICATION ARCHITECT
Hoffman Estates, IL

Responsibilities:
Provide initial design, development and testing estimates to Project Management to assist in definition of project scope, assumptions and constraints.
Create software designs by translating business architecture into application design.
Define high-level process and data flows and design logical data models.
Conduct volumetric/transactional analysis to determine design needs and implications.
Work with developers to build prototypes to prove architecturally significant use cases and mitigate risks related to a design approach.
Advise Business Analysts on design options and issues.
Communicate architecture requirements to technology groups as needed.
Provide developers with the proper documentation and direction to build applications.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
5 years experience in application development.
Project management experience.
Excellent architecture and technical support documentation skills.
Technical/Professional Knowledge & Skills.
