eCommerce Marketing Manager

SpecialTeas is a leading provider of premium loose tea. Since its foundation in 1996, the company has quickly grown into a prime importer and distributor of the World’s Finest Teas and Tea Accessories. SpecialTeas now sells its products in over 50 countries through catalog and web venues.

Position Overview:

The eCommerce Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing strategies and implementing marketing tactics that will drive online sales growth. This individual will develop, lead and oversee the execution of acquisition, retention, and loyalty marketing initiatives. Individually and through collaboration with the internal leadership team, the eCommerce Marketing Manager will coordinate all online marketing activities to increase online traffic, customer loyalty, and retention rates.

Primary Areas of Responsibility:

§Develop and implement online marketing strategies to create the strongest possible Internet presence for our company.
§Identify and work with 3rd party marketing vendors and tool providers to implement identified marketing programs.
§Develop search engine marketing strategies to increase online traffic. This work will include SEO, PPC, and Paid Inclusion efforts.
§Coordinate email campaigns to achieve targeted ROI for retention and up-sell marketing opportunities.
§Provide reporting and analytical summaries of programs under their direction, including recommendations for improvement
REQUIREMENTS
§Minimum 2-5 years experience successfully managing marketing programs in an eCommerce environment.
§Proven knowledge of eCommerce marketing tactics, including e-mail, search engine marketing, performance networks, and affiliate programs.
§Knowledge of search engine optimization tactics.
§Experience with site analytics packages (i.e. WebTrends, Omniture, Fireclick, etc), including developing and interpreting multidimensional report statistics.
§Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
§Proven experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
