About the Position
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily activities of a pick/pack operation to include but not limited to picking, checking, shipping, receiving, billing, inventory control and housekeeping. A California State Board of Pharmacy Designated Representative License, formally known as an Exemptee License, is mandatory. Candidates must also have three years warehouse supervisory experience in a retail or wholesale pharmaceutical distribution setting.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist Director of Distribution in monitoring and assuring that all facility security systems are always functional and that the facility staff is always in compliance with security standardsAssist and ensure the compliance of all governing regulatory agencies such as the DEA, California State Board of Pharmacy and local law enforcementOversee and assure that required facility logs are being kept daily or as required by managementAvailable for facility on-call emergenciesAssist the Director of Distribution in training candidates for the “designated representative” licenseManage operational staff (i.e. pick/pack, receivers)Pick and pack orders from a temperature controlled environmentReceive orders into warehouse and put away product in correct locationsResponsible for the picking and put away of replenished itemsCommunicate with internal company departments to help resolve receiving, shipping and inventory issuesPerform cycle countsAssist the Director of Distribution in performing year-end inventory tasksObtain weights and measures for all warehouse products when necessaryGeneral housekeeping dutiesPerform basic computer tasks and be knowledgeable of the company computer systemSpecial project assignments as delegated by management
REQUIREMENTS


Experience
Must have three years warehouse supervisory experience in a retail or wholesale pharmaceutical distribution setting. Experience with material handling equipment (i.e. Forklift) a plus.
Education
Must have a High school diploma or GED.
